THE SHORT VERSION

Frames can be extracted on your device or on the server. Temporary server files are cleaned up as described below; ZIPs saved on your device remain under your control. No account, name or email is required. The app processes IP addresses and operational records to protect the service. Advertising is disabled by default.

YOUR VIDEO

Supported devices extract frames locally. If local extraction fails, the app uploads the video for server extraction. A thumbnail fallback may also upload up to 4 MB even when extraction stays local. Normal server processing deletes its temporary input at completion or on error; after a crash, a scheduled sweep removes leftovers older than at least one hour. Files may remain longer while the scheduler is stopped. Videos are processed only for extraction and previews.

YOUR OUTPUT FILES

Local extraction creates ZIPs on your device. Server extraction stores ZIPs temporarily on the server. A server download link grants access to anyone who has it; we do not publish or index these links. Keep them private.

Server ZIPs become eligible for deletion after 5 minutes; the scheduled sweep runs every 5 minutes, so deletion normally occurs after that threshold at the next sweep. Delays or a stopped scheduler extend retention. Files you save on your own device remain until you remove them.

WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT

No account, name or email is required for extraction. The app sets no cookies, but saves your language and theme in browser local storage. Advertising is disabled by default. If enabled by the operator, third-party advertising can process data and use cookies; the operator must provide the applicable advertising and consent information.

OPERATIONAL RECORDS

We process IP addresses for rate limits and daily quotas. Redis quota records expire after the day ends plus one hour; file quotas are cleared hourly after the date changes. Application logs include request time, IP address, processed file size, outcome and diagnostic details. Video and image bytes are not intentionally logged; diagnostics may contain technical metadata. Daily application log files retain 30 calendar days and older files are purged hourly while the scheduler runs. Web server logs normally rotate daily with about 30 days of archives. Hosting, proxy, backup and container runtime records may have separate retention; the operator must disclose and configure those periods before launch. Where applicable, service security is the purpose for processing these records.
